The AGC Regimental Association provides benevolence support to serving and ex-serving members of the AGC who find themselves in genuine need, suffering hardship or distress.
The Regimental Association Benevolence Committee considers all applications for benevolence support and all cases are usually decided within 24 hours. The Benevolence Committee is authorised to provide immediate grants and may approach ABF The Soldiers' Charity for additional funding if necessary.
Applications for Benevolence
Applications for benevolence support for serving members of the Corps should be staffed through the chain of command. A report of the circumstances with a recommendation as to the support required should be sent direct to the Regimental Association Secretary at RHQ AGC. (But see next section of this page).
A copy of the benevolence application form, which is used by SSAFA Forces Help and The Royal British Legion (Form A) to notify cases, can be downloaded below and may be used to help compile the case details. You may telephone the Regimental Association Secretary on 94271 2254 (01962 887254) to discuss case details before submitting any documents or papers.

Ex Serving members
Applications for benevolence support from ex serving members of the Corps and their dependants should be made through SSAFA Forces Help or The Royal British Legion. Telephone numbers can be found in the Telephone Directory. These organisations carry out our work on the ground and they will assign a Case Worker who will prepare a report of the circumstances and send it to the Regimental Association for consideration.
